6 ways to maintain positivity when you're feeling down

Be around positive people. It's difficult to be negative when everyone around you is so positive.
2. Reading uplifting materials

Spend time reading something that encourages positive thinking every day.

Read inspirational stuff to help you focus on what is most important to you in life.

It can be an excellent way to begin and end the day.
3. Substitute negativity

You won't be successful at positive thinking if negative thoughts are still troubling you.

Replace - "I always mess it up."

Into - "Sometimes I make mistakes, but I learn from them."
4. Daily gratitude list

You'll notice how much you have to be thankful for if you start keeping a daily gratitude list.

This can help you focus on the positive aspects of your life rather than the negative events of the day.
5. Practicing self-care

Take of yourself, and you'll be better able to think positively.

Get plenty of rest and exercise, and work on your stress management skills.

Taking care of your physical and mental health will make you naturally positive.
6. Smile often

When you smile frequently, your brain rewire itself to make more positive patterns than negative ones.
