I just read a Washington Post article about Democrats running for the Senate in 2022 by @WaPoSean

It demonstrates how structural racism and anti-Blackness infects journalism and political coverage.

To wit:

Conor Lamb is “a clean cut former Marine”

Fetterman is “a striking figure”

But Kenyatta is “already lashing out”

Because the @washingtonpost just had to invoke the “angry, Black man trope” even when writing about the armed violence of a White man.
