I watched Insecure season 1 again: Here's what I forgot:

Issa had multiple chances to tell Lawrence he needed to get his shit together or to leave but she didn't. He got himself together without her prompting anyway. Things were going good for him and for them THEN she cheated

Lawrence was obviously in a deep depression and she never even acknowledged it with him or with anyone else. She was a shit partner.

Molly had her back through thick and thin and she was shitty to her from when she did that "broken pussy" shit until the end

Issa's coworkers were WAY more racist than I remembered.

Tiffany and Derek were supertrash. And their supertrash-ness influenced Molly to do all kinds of dumb shit.

Daniel was running game the whole time showing up to Issa's office and getting her to stay in the studio with him

Bank shawty was GOING HARD at Lawrence. But he liked that positive attention. He could have smashed a long time ago but he had a little more restraint than Issa.

Chad gives the worst advice.

I really can't believe Lawrence was going through that in plain sight and Issa didn't suggest that he get help.

Issa showed narcissistic tendencies. Whenever she wronged Molly (and she did this quite a few times) and Molly told her, it was "Stop trippin" but never "I'm sorry"

In later seasons people would tell Lawrence "of course she cheated on you, you were unemployed" like that justifies anything but that wasn't even true.

They repaired their relationship, he reiterated that he was trying and he was off the couch working THEN she cheated on him.
