In addition to TFC's two consecutive losses to Cruz Azul ( https://www.snkrbox.com/tfcs-champions-league-run-comes-up-short/), Toronto has yet to win a game during the 2021 MLS season. While the team has only played three games, the club seems to be reeling in terms of offensive and defensive production.
On Saturday, Toronto FC lost by a score of 2 - 0. This was the team's second scoreless outing in its last two games. Moreover, the club has only notched one goal in its last three matches.
While two of those games came against the dominant Mexico City team, Cruz Azul, Toronto FC has yet to bounce back.
In other TFC news, Saturday's match was coach Chris Armas' first game against his former club, New York City Red Bulls. Though the team shouldn't panic yet, Coach Armas should feel his seat get much hotter if progress isn't made.
