I’m sure most of you have seen a new function on twitter called Spaces. If you haven’t you will it as a purple thing there by Fleets. It looks like below. Spaces is twitters version of Clubhouse which is like a conference call on the app where we can have voice conversations

The Space has a host and once you’re in it after clicking the purple then anyone can come in and join. So it allows for conversations on any issues. A lot of what I’ve seen in my timeline is people making them like webinars where we learn but I can jus be a fun hangout

So I have an idea. I wanna create a weekly Space, initially for BW but we can grow it as we wish which won’t jus be about talking but actual problem solving for real practical issues we have in our businesses. Kore go abelana but re dira as well. Ese purely theory

An example: say you’re a tomato farmer, wa lema but you’re having an issue on how to get the best from your crop or you have a problem and don’t know how to deal wirh it. You’d present it on the space and then all of us would assist you in solving the issue. We can solve advice

But also ka experience and contacts. We should be able to link you with buyers ba bo Kamoso Africa, assist on how to get listed, help you with where you can get profiles done, find people to assist ka websites, transport, suppliers etc. Kore solve real business problems ka

Real solutions not theory. Give you someone o ka go epelang sediba etc. This is not to say these services will be free (and someone can offer them for free if they wish) but it’s for us to point you in right direction.

It also wouldn’t be a “I have a business idea ke kopa madi” kind of forum. It’s a “how can I raise madi” kind of Forum. It’s success would be totally dependent on gore a rona re a bata. And it’s success is dependent on as many people being interested and willing to assist

Kore as much as this is my idea, it’s not that we’d want it to be a burden to anyone. It’s about uplifting each other and making life easier. Yo itseng about land a thusa, financial products, marketing, investments, social media, processes, operations, HR... we’d use each other..

That’s why it’s important it’s not jus entrepreneurs. We’ll need marketing, finance, procurement specialists etc of companies, parastatals of govt to assist ka processes and to open up doors where they can etc.

But it can only happen if y’all want it so answer the below:

1. Is this idea something you’d be interested in participating in weekly?

When would want it hosted?

Please also feel free to suggest possible names for the weekly space. Bo BWConnect, BWProblem Solvers etc
