i am struggling with being high risk & still unvaccinated this week. Places opening up & people making plans has been nice to watch in an ‘oh, bless your healthy hearts’ kind of a way, but now it’s hitting me that I haven’t been anywhere but hospitals/doctors since last February

i really would like a haircut. I’d like to walk into a shop. I would really, really like to know whether i’m going to be vaccinated before friend’s weddings at the end of august or if I’m still going to be in my own personal lockdown.

Not going to lie, this bit is getting to me. A lot.

Especially because people don’t seem to realise that not all vulnerable people have been vaccinated. Government guidelines weren’t all encompassing. Some of us are still here and waiting and it’s not a good time.
