I’m just repulsed at RZIM. We often forget that in as much as Ravi did what he did, we’re letting our grievances cloud our judgement to the fact that Ravi, whom God had undoubtedly used to bless millions was a victim of the devil (oh! does the name “devil” make you cringe....
Or sends your evangelical detector going off the charts? Well maybe Its time for that reassessment of your spiritual maturity) Ravi gave powerful messages that held people spellbound and deepened convictions in Christ especially in times where the truth of the Christian Faith...
Either suffered religious, scientific and philosophical opposition or wobbled precariously in the heart of Christians. Whether we admit or not, he sparked the fire in people who can now solidly make a case for the faith, a spark of which piqued my interest in
Christian apologetics from watching his videos. It’s sad that we don’t see a champion of Christ who allowed the schemes of the Devil subject his life to the insidious effect of spiritual molestation, which will inevitably, lead man back to depravity if unhinged.
It’s sad RZIM is inadvertently playing into this scheme And extinguishing his legacy, a legacy that still possesses the capacity bless millions more.
No, I’m not defending Ravi while concealing his faults, rather I’m criticizing the approach to the situations and
oftentimes forgetting to Be introspective and also, consider we could actually do worse if we equally give place to the Devil (Gal 3:1). Of course one might vow it’s not possible but earlier on, I highlighted the insidiousness of sin....we forget that a little leaven leaveneth..
The whole lump.
Again, this thread is a critique on approach and wouldn’t have been necessary if an appropriate action had been taken. The one by RZIM is far from appropriate.
