Cross Dressing.

This topic has come up on my TL, and it moved me enough to rise up from my rest. I was kind of surprised that, in this day and age, this is still a sensitive topic.
There are a lot of people who say they are feminists so they don’t like the thought of a cross-dressing man.
Then there’s the other side of the coin, where a man says the crossdresser “emasculates” manhood.
Cross-dressing is not a sexist issue at all. In fact, cross-dressers can be either male or female. Does this surprise you?
Let’s take on the women first. Currently, I am sitting on the couch wearing my PJs. Not a nightgown. When I go out, I put on pants. Not a skirt. I hate skirts. I also wear a lot of sneakers. And drive fast. I have a fast car and I can vroom as fast as anyone out there.
Technically, I am a cross-dresser and a masculine female. But I am also a feminist and love wearing sexy clothes and lingerie.

But the subject of this thread is not what I wear or how I drive.
It is about tackling the question if it is right that a man wears women’s clothes or wears makeup.
Hmm…let’s start with makeup. Historically, makeup was first created thousands of years ago. The earliest on record shows that both men and women wore it to enhance their features.
This means the concept that makeup is only for women is wrong. The same goes for the clothes we wear.
Gender-coded clothes. Do they really exist? I have many questions.
What law states that only men can wear pants? I think that theory was debunked a long time ago. Talk to the feminists.
Men are not allowed to wear clothing labeled as women’s wear. Where did that come from? Better yet, quote that law.
When a woman dresses like a man, they can be dismissed, but once a guy dresses like a woman, they get aggressive attacks?
Why is it that straight men feel personally insulted by the thought of a man wearing women’s clothing?
Does that make them less than they are? Are they now considered gay?
Fact 1: Cross dressing men are not gay.
Fact 2: Cross dressing is not transvestism.
Fact 3: Cross dressing has nothing to do with homosexuality so you can just stop right where you are.
The real battle here is not what men or women wear; it is that the concept of masculinity and femininity are rooted on layers upon layers of insecurities and suppression.
“How dare a man to embarrass himself and his family, his very country, by crying, wearing makeup, or wearing women’s clothing!” Heaven forbid should they be caught playing with dolls.
Look, men are not impenetrable walls with no feelings. Neither are women the perpetual damsels in distress.
On that note, the part about dolls is actually funny. Blow-up dolls are quite popular, if you know what I mean? But that’s a whole other essay. I’ll get to that when the time comes. 😉
