A different theory about the traditional Korean concept for iKON/SF9/TBZ’s dance unit stage:

Kfans have been saying that it might represent the birth of the Joseon dynasty, which started after overthrowing the previous corrupt and incompetent rulers of the kingdom of Goryeo.
The building shown behind Juyeon here (when he enters on the throne) is Injeongjeon/인정전, which is the main hall in Changdeokgung Palace where the kings of Joseon conducted political affairs. The building itself has also become a symbol of Joseon.
(This is what the actual Injeongjeon hall looks like in real life)

Juyeon entering on a throne in front of that hall implies that his character in the performance is associated with Joseon’s rulers (his outfit is also reminiscent of a prince’s)
The roles each of the members (iKON’s DK, Juyeon, and SF9’s Taeyang) play in the stage also seem to be different.
According to kfans, it looks like DK may represent a tyrannical king of the former kingdom (based on his outfit + acting), Juyeon may represent a prince that leads a revolution against the former king (since he is shown on a throne & in association with Joseon’s symbols)...
and Taeyang may represent a guardian warrior (since he is shown in a black outfit with a sword).
If we go along with the story told in historical records and this really is the story of how Joseon came to be, Juyeon’s character may also be a parallel to the historical figure of Yi Bangwon (aka King Taejong),
who was a prince who played a significant role in helping to establish the Joseon dynasty through a rebellion against the former kingdom of Goryeo.
