My favourite Dhanush performances/scenes: a thread

Maryan (2013) is nothing less than poetry itself and it's got one of Dhanush's most captivating performances. This scene where he talks with Pani and conveys his goodbye is just top notch. "The eyes Chico, they never lie".

Completely contrast to the god complex arc he plays is the third act where he is desperate and vulnerable, but we all know what he transitions to a few minutes after this scene Portraying both extremes with such perfection

When it comes to Selvaraghavan, he never fails to extract the best performances from Dhanush. Just gonna let the performance speak for itself...

This is a scene I always visit whenever I feel down. The warmth of a hug can't be replaced by anything, but this scene sure does make me feel warm. Like Karthik, I surrender myself into the arms of Yamini, which in this case is this beautiful scene

Kaadhal Kondein (2003), still can't believe this was his second film. I can't put into words how close to my heart this movie is, this movie has got pain painted all over it :"
