My favourite Dhanush performances/scenes: a thread
Maryan (2013) is nothing less than poetry itself and it& #39;s got one of Dhanush& #39;s most captivating performances. This scene where he talks with Pani and conveys his goodbye is just top notch. "The eyes Chico, they never lie".
TW// blood.
Pudhupettai (2006) has gone one of THE best performances of Dhanush. The way this scene conveys Kokki Kumar& #39;s god complex along with those lightings is just https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đŸ„”" title="Hot face" aria-label="Emoji: Hot face">
Completely contrast to the god complex arc he plays is the third act where he is desperate and vulnerable, but we all know what he transitions to a few minutes after this scene https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙏" title="Gefaltete HĂ€nde" aria-label="Emoji: Gefaltete HĂ€nde"> Portraying both extremes with such perfection https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❀" title="Rotes Herz" aria-label="Emoji: Rotes Herz">
When it comes to Selvaraghavan, he never fails to extract the best performances from Dhanush. Just gonna let the performance speak for itself...
This is a scene I always visit whenever I feel down. The warmth of a hug can& #39;t be replaced by anything, but this scene sure does make me feel warm. Like Karthik, I surrender myself into the arms of Yamini, which in this case is this beautiful scene https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❀" title="Rotes Herz" aria-label="Emoji: Rotes Herz">
Kaadhal Kondein (2003), still can& #39;t believe this was his second film. I can& #39;t put into words how close to my heart this movie is, this movie has got pain painted all over it :"
heartbreak city :"
3 (2012), man i-
Polladhavan (2007), one of my favourite movies growing up and a movie which made me add a new cuss word in my vocab https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😬" title="Grimasse schneidendes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Grimasse schneidendes Gesicht">

Aadukalam (2011), finally the movie which brought Dhanush his first National Award. I remember losing my marbles when it was announced and what a picture https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙏" title="Gefaltete HĂ€nde" aria-label="Emoji: Gefaltete HĂ€nde">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❀" title="Rotes Herz" aria-label="Emoji: Rotes Herz">
Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2008): a scene that warms my heart everytime :& #39;)
