2. I’m a proud Hindu. Just like @SinghNavdeep Sir is a proud Sikh and my coursemate Maj Salman Khan, SC (P) was a proud Muslim and another course-mate who is leading COVID support via air transport is a proud Christian. The

thing that makes us ( Defense personnel )different from others is the day you don your uniforms, there is only one religion to follow and that’s called ‘India’ and one flag to salute above all and that is ‘Tiranga’. That’s the code we live and die by. The only enemy is enemy of

country, irrespective of her/his caste, creed, religion, nationality etc. Rest, we are under an oath to defend the nation from internal and external enemies. Upon retirement or resignation or PMR, we don’t say we relinquish the oath. We just relinquish the commission given by

President of India. So how can we act like religious bigots ?
4. Now coming to your question of religion. Firstly, no one needs any certificate from anyone how good or bad Hindu he is. The beauty of Hinduism lies in the flexibility that it accords to all in the way they want to

worship God and be tolerant towards everyone. And to further amplify my point, I come from family of Saadhaks and Saadhvis. Not distant cousins. But siblings. Average puja time in our house can be anywhere between 6-8 hours. Goes way beyond during special days. While you discuss

cricket and movies, we discuss Karma, Moksha, Ramayan etc at night. While you sing Bollywood songs, my sister sings Shiv Stottram, कंठस्थ when we sit together. While you might find it difficult to remember certain events in Ramayana and Mahabharata, we discuss every event, it’s

cause, effect and background. So No, there’s absolutely no way that you can teach me what Hinduism is.
And coming from this background and having worn the uniform, I’ll only advice you one thing, there is not one line in any scripture where it says Hindus have to hate or kill

non Hindus. It’s this religion that allows even Rakshas to follow their way of life. It’s only when someone threatens your life or lifestyle, Gods picked up the weapons and fought. Learn that please If the fight comes to me, I’ll fight. But don’t go looking for it by insulting

others and casting aspersions. What would you say about Brig Usman, Lt Fayaz, Hav Abdul Hamid, Maj Salman etc ? If it comes to pure certain military variables based performance and patriotism, they’ve outshone you by miles.
Anyway, Sir, due to the rank we wear with our names, we

represent a group of dedicated and motivated men and women. Kindly be cognisant of the environment before making petty remarks that are unbecoming of a military officer. Who you vote for, is your choice. Join politics if you want to. But then don’t drag Army into it.
