There is a question, that bothers most young folks and even some adults; and it's a question of purpose. What is my purpose in life? Why am I on earth? Some say their purpose is to be a doctor, Engnr. etc, What if you want to be a dancer? Sounds like an unserious purpose

So what is purpose? Purpose is simply your reason for existence.

1pet2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; (WHY?) that you should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness

workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus FOR GOOD WORKS...

Conclusion? Our purpose on earth is for God to be glorified. Doctor? Engnr?

Tailor? Pastor? Those are your platforms, you need them to carry out your purpose
Platform can change, purpose does not
Someone wanted to be a tailor, had an accident lost her legs
