@larvalabs is the maker of the most iconic NFTs: CryptoPunks, Autoglyphs & now Meebits.

Hanging out in their Discord this week, it's clear the community is anticipating more from LL.

Namely: 1) future collabs or even 2) a lifestyle brand by LL themselves.

I found something 👇 https://twitter.com/iamsted1/status/1391062037116108801
@pents90 and @matthall2000 are very well respected in the space.

So this thread got me thinking:

- We care about status/signaling in the real-world (purses, watches, clothes, cars, etc)
- We'll care about status in The Metaverse, too.

And who better to build a brand than LL.
Some of the Meebits have shoes that look like Jordan's, and shirts that look like Supreme.

Are these intentional easter eggs dropped by John and Matt?

The interesting part?

I googled around a bit and found a Trademark for the logo, and for a brand called "Snoutz."

Boom.
"Apparel, namely, hats, t-shirts, and sweatshirts"

A digitally-native brand for Meebits (and also maybe for other characters).

Let's remember: w3 is going to be all about interoperability.

And http://meebits.larvalabs.com  has a built-in marketplace for selling and trading.

Bingo.
Tomorrow marks the 7th full day since the release of Meebits.

All 10K public Meebits have been printed.

But there are ~2,500 unminted Meebits that have not yet been claimed by Punk/Glyph owners.

It'll be interesting to see what the LL team does with these remaining Meebits.
Pumped to see how this project unfolds, and more importantly, how *the community* innovates on it.

I'm not much of a Supreme guy myself, but something about owning a "Snoutz hoodie" alongside a digital Meebit, well -- that sounds pretty intriguing.

See you in The Metaverse.
