How the #DWTDTAOSO should be carried into the next era...

So far, we got an album that didn't get little to no promotion. We had a music video that wasn't announced until two days before the album dropped, about 3 interviews (ONLY ONE on major tv). ONE televised performance. And since then...it's been silent.

Obviously we know that Island Records is bankrupt and that has to be taken into account for realistic expectations. But if Island can milk out some money, we can still have a semi okay era. Success was never the intention, it was about the reach of her story in attempts to aid.

What can fans do?
Easy. Stream. Stream with the strategy we had in the first week (iykyk). But stream Met Him Last Night the most. Spread the word, post your covers using a hashtag, do your dance challenges, comedy posts whatever. (1/?)

MHLN is the confirmed second single off this album. Island likes to see songs get popular without their help to push the song (which is fked up), but true. We need to make noise on the song itself. Also, we should make another virtual concert like last year. #DemiVirtualConcert

Have FUN with the song. Don't compete with anyone, just ENJOY the song and I promise it will exceed the expectations we as a fandom have.

NOW for the team
We should see a Demi/Ariana performance announcement for the BBMAs. A joint performance would be nice where we get DWTD, Positions and MHLN live. It should be posted on both artists social media.

IF this does happen, they will automatically trend (we know). This is the perfect moment to tease the mv. Just a 10 second clip posted about 6 hours after the performance announcement.

This music video should premiere the friday AFTER the performance. The performance will create hype for the music video which should be announced the sunday of the BBMAs.

After the Friday, we should get a few more TV performances of MHLN (solo) of course, from the comfort of her home. Demi does not need to work super hard, she only needs to perform a few times and do interviews she wants. Her push is in the team backing her.

MHLN should reenter the TTH in the top 10 at least. We won't get number 1, because again Island's broke, but the single should be pushed. Around this time, Demi should announce her podcast (she said we're gonna get new info this month!)

Maybe she should have a feature on a song in June as well, sort of a summer song for us. Not much can be done with that with the team/label, considering promo would probably under the collaborator's label. But we shall stream!

In June, the label should look at MHLN's performance. If it's going on an upward trend, more promotion should be put into it. Maybe a little more performances, but full sets (of like 5-6 songs).

MGAMB or Melon Cake should be pushed as the final single from the era. I personally don't think this era should go past the summer/early autumn, considering how heavy it is for her. I say the final single should be pushed late summer (last two weeks).

To CLOSE this era, we should get a big virtual concert from Demi. Giving her a chance to bring the songs to life (almost like a tour show). It should be one with tickets and further merch should be sold with it, along with maybe tour codes (for whenever it happens)

Something like the triller performance but with dancers would be fun, or she could super extravagant. It's her story/songs to sing and she should be in charge on how to tell it.

Following this concert, official word on her status with the label should go public

As for performances, I think Demi should perform at the VMAs with a medley of MHLN and MGAMB. It is the perfect summer song and I feel like a sick transition could be made between the two songs.
