It baffles me when men who claim they’re aware of misogyny become frustrated if I quote tweet their problematic replies. “Wow thanks alot, glad I could give you some red meat.”

So, you’re not actually aware of misogyny, or you’ve never been reprimanded for it. Either way, learn.
Sorry you got quote tweeted by a nobody on Twitter. I can assure you the consequences of misogyny are far worse. Maybe what you said wasn’t so bad, but what you don’t understand, foundationally, is that it’s less what you say to us, and more that no one cares, and it never stops.
Our lives are full of tiny, not so bad comments. It’s death by a thousand cuts. It’s a slow, intentional shrinking that quiets us. It shapes our behavior, our goals, and what we’re willing to accept.

In my case, I accept none of them.
