(9/?) this *is* a crossover but i'm also crossing a lot of wires & character roles here...
i was so indecisive about who would be the defector.. bortz-geto because jjk canon?? or dia-cairngorm-gojo-- which seems a better mix of both hnk and jjk story elements

(10/?) ultimately went with gem gojo bc that scene of cairngorm and aechmea (ch67) was so harrowing/powerful for me.. gem gojo 'freed' of six eyes-ghost by aechmea-mahito...

(11/?) i rly should have done a full re-read of houseki before this bc i probably missed tons of good connections.
there's so much buddhist symbolism in both hnk and jjk.. im sure i only scratched the surface in this crossover. if someone has the hnk-jjk discourse IM ALL EARS

(12/?) haruko ichikawa has one of my fav illustration styles.. the entire hnk manga is actual composition/paneling perfection
i should have tried harder to emulate her bc my drawings are just.. so inadequate in comparison sigh; more practice ahead!!
