If y’all know me, y’all know I try not to be controversial. Imma bout to tweet some controversy. Prepare yaself.
This is from our sermon today. It struck me.
John 15:12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
This is Christ’s only Commandment. Yeah, he said two, but one was OT and not really his. He only gave one new one.
As was pointed out in our sermon today, this was a COMMANDMENT. Not a suggestion. A Commandment.
If your denomination is teaching any form of hate for one of God’s children, your church is blasphemous. If you have hate in your heart for ANY of God’s children, you are blasphemous.
If they are gay, trans, Republican, Democrat, foreign, or any other label that can be put on another person, it don’t matter! Christ says “Love them.” Period.
