I still recommend FANGIRL often, despite the Issues with the author because it& #39;s one of the most realistic NA books i’ve ever picked up. And some with RED, WHITE, AND ROYAL BLUE.
But we deserve more books about non-famous people in their 20s.

I remember looking for my first apartment while also being classes and it was. An ADVENTURE. And hilarious. I would LOVE a book that features a bunch of scenes where somebody’s seeing Apartment Horror Stories because that’s their budget.
It’s not a coincidence that these authors and stories tend to Sell Well either so I don’t know what else publishing wants.
There’s SO much that can be done with books focusing on those first years of real independence - post-high school or post-college. So many of the “firsts” you see in YA can also be firsts in NA. And it’s a whole different kind of coming into your own!
