It is a belief in those days that if we chant or talk about something, it will get stronger due to the power of vibration.

In the current context, globally everybody is talking and thinking about the virus, due to which we see negative vibrations and many more are getting

affected and the count is increasing.

In our younger days in the village, if any person is affected by small pox, the villagers never use the name of the disease but would rather say 'Mariatha vandhirukku' meaning the 'Goddess has come'.

They would chant the name of the Goddess and quarantine the infected person. They believe due to this positivity in chanting goddess name the power will increase and protect us from the disease.

In order to bring down the severity of the virus, instead of using

the word 'corona' chant 'Narayana' or whichever God you believe. We can take a positive step forward and assume the prayers of crores will be answered in eradicating the virus.
