One was "Mother& #39;s Day" (Then, Father& #39;s Day).
As a mother, I HATE having this holiday forced upon me, instead of just receiving children& #39;s love when they choose to express it. It& #39;s so contrived.

Lost children, & what this does to them.
Think of all the stupid money-spending to make up for guilt.
Not everyone has a good mother.
This is NOT a good holiday, IMHO.
The love & gifts I receive as a mother is enough. I don& #39;t need dutiful phone calls & presents & posts.
BTW - I& #39;ve had a wonderful Mother& #39;s Day, but I love the spontaneous love so much more.
