Like other Kizuki, Doma's techniques strongly resemble his human personality. For example, while Rui seeks for a family bond (spider web technique) or Enmu likes to hypnosis and lie to people about their chronic illness (dream manipulation), ICE shows Doma's true identity.

Despite of his warming and cherished words, Doma is just an emotionless character. He even recognized hthis since he was a human. Unlike Kokushibo's Moon Breath or Akaza's Soryu martial arts, Doma's techniques reflect emptiness, coldness, and loneliness like ice.

White Blizzard Princess: this attack strongly shows the demon's obsession with women. He only considers them as inferior subjects who always worship and serve him as the cult leader. Moreover, for Doma, women are just nutritious preys.

Winter Icicles: Icicles drop from the sky to trap his enemies. The attack works like a prison without any escapes for his opponents. This technique mimics his mindset about his worshipers: when they join the Paradise Faith cult, there is no way out for them except death.

Frozen Lotus, Vine Lotus, Lotus Ice: Although he does not believe in Gods or religions. His attacks resemble lotuses, the famous flower relates to the Buddha in Buddhism. According to the Buddhism, when the Buddha was born, his first seven footprints turned into 7 lotuses.

Moreover, the most popular image of Buddha in Buddhism is the Buddha on a lotus. On the contrary, Doma has a delusion that he is the savior for desperate human on Earth. Literally, he compares himself as a God. A very contradiction for his atheism.

Hoarfrost Lily Bodhisattva: Again, for Doma, Hell does not exist, so there is no punishment for his crimes. However, his last-ditch attack resembles a Bodhisattva. In Buddhism, there is a famous Bodhisattva who guides lost souls in Hell: Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva.

As his most powerful and desperate attack, Doma hopes that the "Bodhisattva statue" can save his life like how the true Kṣitigarbha saves lost souls in Hell. Despite not having any feeling, Doma's instinct shows that he feels scared and gets lost at the end of the fight.

Like lost souls in Hell, Doma tries everything to escape death and punishments. If Kṣitigarbha raises his hands to salvage people, Doma's Hoarfrost Lily Bodhisattva will destroy his enemies with its hands.

For any Demon Slayer that faces Doma, the only thing they can feel is coldness until their death. The only way they can escape death is warmth and love. The warmth of friendship between Kanao and Inosuke plus the strong love between Kanao and the Kocho sister defeat Doma.

In my opinion, Gotouge is an amazing writer because they skillfully add thematic elements from life and religions into the story. Hence, when viewers read each chapter, it is not only for pure entertainment, but viewers also learn some meaningful lessons for life.
