i haven’t seen a single tweet about what’s going on in palestine at the moment and i would personally like to spread awareness. if you see this, please retweet & if u want add & spread as much awareness as u can.

on the night of Jumu’atul Widah (last Friday in Ramadan, extremely important for Muslims) israeli forces stormed into the Masjid Al-Aqsa where a lot of palestinian’s were praying. Flash bangs, stun grenades and rubber bullets were used leaving a large amount of people injured.

a bit about the importance of Masjid Al-Aqsa: it was the first Qiblah of the Muslims, it’s a place where several of the messengers of Allah are buried, this was the place where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)led the prophets in prayer, Allah himself calls it a ‘blessed place’ & more

now what’s happening- residents of the Jerusalem village of sheikh jarrah are facing violent expulsion from their homes. they are being forced out. on may 2nd the supreme court of Israel, instead of rejecting the unjust “eviction” orders against them, the court

told them to come to an agreement with the Jewish settlers who were forcing them out. residents refused to give up their home and the “ruling” was postponed till May 10th. since May 2nd, sheikh jarrah has begun to resemble a war zone.

several homes were raided, women, children and elders and many residents were physically assaulted. the youth who were defending the Palestinian homes were arrested.

this is only a part of what has happened but everyday the war and violence increases. i am begging you to help and spread as much awareness and donate. Palestine needs your help. your voice matters.
