I interviewed @chrishlad who went from 0 to 28k Twitter followers in a year

Even better, he's been working for @ShaanVP on content

Here's what I learned about creating great content, building systems for success, and building a world class network 👇
• Working with Shaan Puri

I wrote a tweet thread in a reply to this tweet by @theSamParr 👇 https://twitter.com/theSamParr/status/1362470062540681224
That tweet led to me working with Shaan which is basically researching content ideas for tweet threads and newsletter

We have a slack channel "Twitter Ammo" and whenever we come across a great tweet, it goes into the Ammo
• Writing dope Tweets

My go to sources for great content ideas

• @TrungTPhan
• @patrick_oshag
• @dickiebush
• @nevmed
• @SahilBloom
• @Julian
• @gregisenberg
• @nateliason

Studying people to create A+ content is the best way to learn creating A+ content
I use Notion to capture content ideas and spend 2 hours on Saturdays writing 2 Tweet threads and 20 Tweets

Spend atleast 50% of your time writing headlines

Build social proof like, "I've interviewed 5 founders of billion dollar Startups" https://twitter.com/chrishlad/status/1380548368343121931
• Building a world class network

When you cold email or DM someone, be very specific

I had a call with @craigclemens

I asked him for a specific advice about the headline of a thread that I'd written

Here's my exact framework for networking 👇 https://twitter.com/chrishlad/status/1382348905950679044
Here's how I keep in touch with super busy entrepreneurs

I would send them an email followup a few months after the first call

"Hey X, it's been 4 months since I interviewed you. Here's an update on my end"

A few bullet points.

Do this every 6 months.
• Atomic Habits, Deep Work and Sacred Hours

The key to building habits is easy wins

- Reading 1 page every day

- A 20 minute zoom call with someone I've never talked to every week

- Meditate for 1 minute

Simplicity makes it achievable
Reduce Friction

Instead of reading physical books I ordered a kindle

Ordering new books every time you finish one is a lot of friction

On Kindle, I can read anything instantly

Also, keep rotating between books to not get bored

Hack your psychology. Keep a habit calendar
