Another tweet dive in my efforts to twitter better. This time? The Veranthea Codex, a book we put out there 5 years ago for the 1st edition of the Pathfinder #RPG.

The North Star the design team used was "radical" and I think one image from the book really establishes that.
@JacobBlackmon did this piece and I am still thrilled every time I see it. "It's an animated coastal medieval city fighting a sort of greasy mech made out of monster trucks" is *not* a simple art order and he really did it justice.
I cannot believe the name of the monster truck mech did not leap out from the back of my mind earlier in this thread but it is of course called the DESTRUCTINATOR™ (and of course it has statistics).

This piece is from an adventure included in the book (Bad Omens in Ominara).
That also includes rules for how things work when the PCs take the city for a drive, and of the many adventures I've run in Veranthea it really took the cake as the most radical of the bunch.

It's hard to get more radical than "fight as a city against the DESTRUCTINATOR™"
