There's an absolute barrage of context free stats about Liverpool recently. Ignoring when matches were played, who played, who was available, how the games played out. Like, we are creating more quality chances than when we won the league recently...
Last five games, off the scale levels, but not converting many, but crucially, conceding over twice as many as we did during the peak. Footy is all about balance and stats are meaningless without context.
We've got a 3/4 length blanket and without Alisson we might have far fewer points in recent weeks, but with hot forwards it could've been maximum. That's footy in small samples, but we've got a very limited defensive structure and that's probably the answer to most issues...
Winning headers is important, but having no pace in the middle is disastrous, especially when you play your best midfielder as a CB, as ruin the rest of the def structure accordingly.
