People on this here website confused that Eric Adams and Andrew Yang are defending policing/calling for more of it and winning the New York City mayoral race: something like 95% of the people shot in NYC last year were black or latino. Yang and Adams are getting those votes.
"Adams dominated with Black voters, garnering 47 percent of their support, compared to 11 percent of whites and 8 percent of Hispanics polled. Yang, by comparison, polled best with Hispanics — 22 percent — compared to 17 percent of white voters and 12 percent of Black voters."
This is how Adams is campaigning. And he's on top in the latest poll.
