My Take on ZKKC vs The OP community

I really don’t get where the misunderstandings started but I wanna explain. In ZKK the majority of people think Zoro will kill kaido because of foreshadowing, author subverting expectations, and the parallels between Zoro, Oden and Ryuma.

The rest of the community views this to either be foolish, thinking there’s no way Oda would ever let the final villain be dealt with by someone other than luffy, or they think the theory is disrespectful, believing that people made this theory to put Zoro above luffy

I don’t think it’s unreasonable for people to feel a certain type of way or feel offended by other people dismissing their opinions very condescendingly and insulting their intelligence. This is especially the case if the theory in question has a lot of evidence to back it up

This is why I can never fully agree with the idea of “Zoro stans being the toxic ones” because why I do acknowledge some people can be disingenuous and just reading the story for Zoro, I would say the majority just agree with the evidence and are expressing a theory they have.

This is why they respond the way they do sometimes, because of course when someones coming at you saying “zorotard” or “ I don’t know how you could believe this moronic theory” and just directly insulting you and your intelligence, you wanna clap back......Like a normal person

Overall I just think like any conversation that changes the norm, there will be conflict, insults, and disagreements. But to make it seem like Zoro stans are the sole reason for these negative interactions is very disingenuous and wrong
