> which a pregnant women only has to suffer some early nausea, then 9 months of glowing skin, & ultimately some birth pangs. Perhaps we fear that without this propaganda many women would just opt out; & frankly many do opt for pregnancy out of family/peer/societal pressure. >
>In reality, the list of all sorts of pangs, discomfort, aches that a woman has to endure during 9 months of pregnancy is incredibly long & it only grows with every month. It makes sense considering you literally have a parasite feeding off you for 9 months growing inch-by-inch >

> Anahita, Allat, Hera, Isis, Ma’at, Sekhmet, Nut, Athena, Aphrodite, Diana, Venus, Sita have been the ones closer to common folks (if not clergy & political elites). Also not surprising that the word used for a merciful God in Islam Rehman/Rahim is derived from the Semitic >
> root for womb rhm’. What is worst though is that these pregnant women in our society (both traditional eastern & hypercapitalist western) are expected to go through their normal chores like they aren’t nourishing an infant inside their womb. >
