Okay fine I'll support independence again and MAYBE I'll even start feeling patriotic again soon.

Scotland has proven something to me this election. Maybe the Scottish people /really/ won't stand for injustice and people being treated unfairly.
I think it may indeed be time to re-evaluate how critical I've been of the Yes movement.

Now that we see that a small, noisy, and now disparate minority is responsible for a great deal of the hateful rhetoric going around at the moment, perhaps there is scope to move on.
Regardless, don't take this as an endorsement of the SNP or the First Minister's handling of Social Justice related issues.

Rather, merely a comment that perhaps Scotland isn't as far gone and succeptible to conspiracy and the creeping spectre of what I like to call
'Fascism of the 21st Century'.

Chasing out chumps like Galloway, Salmond, and Fransen are a good start, but we must always vigilant against the degeneration of our patriotism into chauvinistic nationalism.

As we saw this election, it is a force that makes a mockery of us all.
It is a disgrace to Scotland, frankly.

But the people have largely rejected it, and with it ushered in a new and progressive government in Holyrood (perhaps with the exception of John Mason, eh @NicolaSturgeon? 💕)
Our best days are ahead of us. I have never doubted the future of Scotland is a prosperous and egalitarian one. It is clear to me now that it must be one in which Scotland takes its destiny into its own hands.

Prosperity and good times may just be around the corner at last 😇🥰
So we're taking this one back;

For a prosperous, Democratic, socially-just Scotland, that stays out of the affairs of others, there can only be one option for our country...
