You have always had one plan or another in your life since you were a child. It might have been to build a toy or get your mom, dad, or anyone to buy you one. And growing up to adulthood, there are things you always wanted to achieve.
But sadly, as life would have it, you learned about and experienced heartache early in life with the realization that things don’t always work out according to plan.
So, what do you do if you take your time, think things through and make a move towards achieving a dream and it fails?

At this point, some people give up. Some get angry. Others become depressed. Different people have different reactions when things don’t go according to plan.
Have you questioned why plans fail? It may not be a topic to discuss in a short blog article. Proverbs 3:5 strongly recommends that you trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding, to acknowledge the Lord in all your plans so that He can direct you.
Did you see that? Your intentions can fail when you take the wrong direction, even though you may believe you are going in the right direction.
The verse above also implies that your understanding can cause your plans to fail. In other words, when you think all is under control, that may not be the case.
So what do you do when things don’t work out? Whether you failed to buy a loaf of bread or get a million-dollar deal, it’s all failure of a plan. Trust in the Lord and acknowledge Him.
He shall direct your thoughts so that you will make the right decisions and attain the success you have always craved.
I believe this is the easiest way to get any plan to work, whatever it is. Take a step back from your logical thinking. Ask your Creator for direction, and you will get it. Your plans will not fail.

Simple? Yes. Powerful? Extremely powerful.
So, you know what to do when things don’t go according to plan.

What are you going to do?
