Not impressed with emergency services. I know it was a difficult place to reach and there was no imminent danger, but they took over 2 hours to arrive and they couldn't accept a map reference but had to have the position in @what3words. Fortunately, one of our group had the app
Nor was I impressed with my lack of preparedness. As I wasn't leading the walk, I had no paper map and I had to lead some group members back to the cars. Couldn't use OS map on my phone, as battery went flat and I had no power pack. Had to use Google maps on someone else's phone!
Just heard that the lady our group helped yesterday has been released from hospital and is doing well. Her family were warm in their thanks and appreciation for all the support she was given yesterday while waiting for the paramedics
