And that's it, I think with those plugins and VSTs you can achieve a good sound with your productions, is not necessary to spend a lot of money on plugins. However, stuff like FabFilter, Serum, iZotope stuff, Kontakt, it's really nice to have.

And remember, those plugins I used a lot! In every project, there are many many other free stuff, but the plugins mentioned on this thread are the ones that I use.
