Called an ambulance and did not allow her leave although typical Naija way my sister said she was OK
.. Within minutes the ambulance arrived.. Guess what again.. They did not allow her walk out of the dentist office.. The put her on a wheelchair and rolled her to the waiting

Ambulance. And it was in that same ambulance she stayed till they stabilized her and gave her some drugs and after asking loads of questions to unravel why her BP was high she was let go. She did not pay a dime! She was just a "student" in a foreign land and she was treated

And accorded so much respect but sadly can't say same for us here In Nigeria.
We see so many stories of lives lost due to the distasteful Healthcare system.
It gets worse everyday.
No equipment, manpower (of course why won't docs.and nurses migrate) una dey pay them well?

I think I mentioned here one time where my mum was also misdiagnosed only for her to go out of the country and the so called "cancerous abcess " na boil las las ?? 
Or a friend's Mum who had the wrong organ removed due to a misdiagnosis??

There are several stories for days here of lives cut short to ailments that if things were even slightly better would have survived??

Take a trip to your local. Hospital in your LGA at the grassroot level and see the decay and how our leaders have left us to rot. Yet they all budget millions for the Healthcare sector??
They embezzled these funds but the hospital mgt. too are also part of the corruption

You are basically OYO in Nigeria.. Sometimes even with money you dem no dey sell life for Shoprite.
We need to scale up.. As this matter dey touch every one. Even our own President and his ministers seek health care treatment abroad. Abroad no get two heads!! We can!
