Until our age groups which means young asthmatics won’t be protected until July-August and with the world opening up again that is terrifying. We’re frustrated and scared and it doesn’t help being ignored by the government. We’ve been told it’s a vascular virus..

But we know that’s a lie because all COVID patients struggle to breath and need ventilators to help them breath. It doesn’t make sense to say that asthmatics aren’t at risk when we suffer from a respiratory disease and can’t get a vaccine for a respiratory virus...

I don’t want to find out what will happen if I and many others get the virus before getting the vaccine. Reinstate #asthmaticsatrisk NOW before the worst happens and the NHS is overwhelmed again

@ajpollard1 The JCVI made this decision by using data from last year. This is not accurate since most asthmatics were self isolating and voluntarily self isolating resulting in there being less hospital admissions.
