Meet Mrs. @iyaboawokoya Quintessential Mama Live Within Your Means!!!
Mrs. Iyabo Awokoya is the daughter of the late Honorable Justice Rasheed Fawehinmi and late Mrs. Gertrude Ebun Fawehinmi. She has two older brothers, Olawale and Olaitan Fawehinmi and other junior siblings.
2. Mrs. Gertrude Fawehinmi was an English Literature teacher and Honorable Justice Rasheed Fawehinmi was a judge in Ondo state judiciary. Upon the completion of her secondary education, “big sis” proceeded to the then University of Ife (Obafemi Awolowo University)
3. where she studied law and graduated in 1981…yes 1981. After a year’s study at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, she was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1982 and undertook her compulsory National Youth Service Corp year at the Oyo State Ministry of Justice.
4. Immediately she completed her Youth Service, she went work in the chambers of Chief Gani Fawehinmi and Chief Robert Clark respectively. In 1986, she co-founded the firm of Awokoya, Awokoya & Co with her husband and the firm subsists. She also founded and practice legal
5. legal consultancy under the name and style of Castalia Consultants and of recent, have become a partner in the firm styled “The Neighbourhood Law Practice”.
6. @Iyaboawokoya is a woman brought up with high values which accounts for why she is all about people leading a life worthy of emulation. Her background as daughter of a Judge and her profession as a Lawyer has shaped her life so much that she will never defend bad conduct.
7. The Chairperson of Boli and Ponmo Patriots Association is also a development and management consultant and practice at Sages Consult Limited where she is the Managing Director, she is very passionate about training and capacity building & raising Nigerian Patriots.
8. A great philanthropist & humanist. Auntie Iyabo mobilized like minds from Twitter to setup a Grant Scheme for the Youths called @CEEDYOUTHS aimed at giving grants 250k to three youths with outstanding business proposals.the funds for the grant were raised between her friends.
9. The first phase of the grant held last. She continues helping the society to instill values and lifting others up. Not many people can work with her because she does not bend the rules.
