People are not angry that we are yet in another #MCO. If we need to flatten the curve, we will do it. People are angry because even after more than a year of implementing MCOs, the govt still cannot decide what is doable or not based on the needs of the people & the economy.

People are angry because even after more than a year of seeing people suffer because of the multiple MCOs, the govt still does not have a sustainable resilience building and social protection plan everytime another #MCO comes along.

People are angry because the year of MCOs have shown us how detached people in power are from realities on the ground, and how the system appears to be rigged to favour and protect only their own. You can afford to stay at home. You still don't understand that many cannot.

So to those in power (+ celebrities, VIPs etc), as you flaunt your new baju raya in your nice living rooms & your table full of goodies this coming festive season, spare a thought for those who will be having one of the saddest and most depressing rayas this year.
