no seriously lol the whole point of nct dream was to show “youth” but then nctzens got bitches and made sm change the concept. nctzens ruined dream tbh https://twitter.com/febliz_/status/1391054899383881729
nctzens are such bitches anyways i am literally an nctzen and have been since 2017 😭 dream is literally the reason why im an nctzen. just because i don’t like how the graduation concept is gone does not mean anything bad? are we not allowed to have opinions now?
because clearly i didn’t explain myself correctly. of fucking course i know the members wont stay 16 forever im not fucking stupid. when i say they “ruined” dream i mean they ruined the concept. not that dream is bad now? because obviously they’re not they’ve done extremely +
well since 2019. they’ve made a lot of achievements for nct and it makes me happy because i do feel like sometimes non-dreamzens do try to push dream aside like they aren’t good and it’s frustrating +
what i mean when i say they “ruined” dream is that they ruined dreams original concept. their original concept was to show “teenage youth” and once they became an adult they’d graduated and move onto another unit (if already in one or they would later be added into another) +
dreams concept was nice to see, especially in kpop so i was excited to see it play out. but then it got to when 00 line would graduate and thats when the big “push” to end the graduation system came out. it had always been there but this time it was the loudest that sm noticed +
so they changed it. and i was happy/upset about it. i was happy because yes i love the original line up and it seriously seemed like sm didn’t plan to put the graduating members in another unit so it would have been so frustrating to just sit and wait plus thinking +
about how jisung cried during the dream concert just made it feel?? worse they’d have to spilt apart not knowing if they’d be in another unit together. BUT! despite all that i still felt a little sad to watch this concept go. i mean think about trainees who might +
have been told they could possibly debut in this unit? or what about fans who wants a group to represent how they feel as a teenager? it would feel weird to watch “adults” do so. i mean you all talk about kpop groups that have 22+ members doing “cute” concepts +
and shit on them for it because they’re “grown” adults but for dream its not weird? how does that even make sense?? not to mention dream is a “rotational” group now and it feels pointless because is that not what nct u is? why do have two of the exact same unit? its stupid.
