Matt Ryan, a thread. #RiseUpATL
Run play action and good things will happen.
Koetter stole a play out of Reid's playbook here.
Todd Gurley was still a great pass catcher, and really good in short yardage situations last season.

Ryan extends the play here, as he has pressure in his face and doesn't see the open man in the middle of the field, and makes great pass on the run.
Moves around in the pocket to get away from the pressure, while keeping his eyes downfield.

Gets the ball off to Russell Gage, who displays some #ArrogantHands
Russell Gage is a very good WR3. Again, I really hope the Falcons do not trade Julio because we deserve to see him with the other plethora of weapons in this offense, with Koetter finally gone, and a competent play-caller at the helm.
Matt Vick
With Carpenter getting pushed back into his face, sigh, he gets off a great pass to Ridley.
Hello, ball placement. Sheesh.
Calvin Ridley is good at playing ball. I had the next large chunk of videos with some analysis written out and it went poof, so idk how much effort I will put into this now.
Steps away from the pressure and finds Ridley for the score.
Again, run play action and good things happen.
Calvin Ridley is constantly getting open in the red zone. now add Kyle Pitts to the equation. Pitts, Ridley, Julio. Yes.
I don't know who originated this play, but I do remember Shanny running it when he was in Atlanta.
In an extremely DJ Khaled voice, another one.
Good ball placement here. He puts it where virtually only Julio can make a play on the ball.
Julio is still that dude. 🚀
I can't wait to see these guys in Arthur Smith's offense.
Toe drag swag. @nateburleson 👀
The DB ducks instead of trying to make a play on the ball here.

Pocket collapsing and he gets it to Julio, even if there was a little luck on his side for this one. He shows some zip on this pass.
Pressure closing in quick, but he steps away and finds the open man downfield.
Knows he is going to take a shot and delivers a dime.
Steps up to get away from the backside pressure and finds Ridley for the first down.
Goes through his progressing, moves well in the pocket, and guess who he finds for the touchdown? Calvin Ridley
Even when your run game sucks, play action still works.
This isn't an easy throw to make. Hits Ridley in stride.
A rare Julio Jones touchdown. #Falcons
Should have been a touchdown, but Ridley didn't trust his speed.
Another one of those difficult throws that he made a few clips above in this thread. Hits Ridley in stride again.
I am biased, but I think Atlanta can have the best offense in the league this year. Contrary to what you read on the twitter streets, Matt Ryan has not declined.
Pressure in his face again, and another heck of a throw to Ridley.
