Achievement made my ft island back in 2012. As they were Koreas first ever idol band they were not well received and often were left malicious comments about how they werent actually playing their instruments and probably didnt do the backtrack themselves either. Not sure

How many people know this even now but bands dont actually play on music shows due to how long it'll take to set up and take down etc. But ft got a lot of flack for it and when Hongki was invited onto immortal songs he broke the usual way things worked and asked them to allow him

To have the rest of ft island play his music for him. I wanna say because they agreed they were the first ever band on immortal song which given koreas view of them at the time was a really big deal. I dont remember off the top of my head if they won at all but that achievement

Is something dear to me especially since it really shows just how much hongki is willing to do to have ft island be recognized not just him. He will risk everything if it means making a name for ft island not letting people keep thinking hes all there is to ft island.
