As Americans, our choice when it comes to what’s happening in #SheikhJarrah is either to show up in solidarity with Palestinians resisting or to be complicit in apartheid.

This is not a hyperbole.

Let me explain how all Americans are, by default, responsible for this:

In addition to shielding Israel from consequences in the UN, the US government send $3.8 billion in military funding to Israel on an annual basis.

That’s $3.8 billion going towards an army dedicated towards the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

Many of the military supplies that Israel uses this money on come from... American weapons manufacturers, keeping the industrial military complex well funded off of these horrifying human rights violations against Palestinians.

So with our tax dollars going towards Israeli apartheid, it’s on every American to demand this stop.
