I’ve been in racing my whole life. My earliest memories are from being at a race track with my family. Never have I seen anyone step up and help the entire field the way @marcuslemonis @CampingWorld @Overtons @GoodSamFamily has. Is it huge money? No. But that’s ok
What it is, it’s an opportunity. To have a chance to represent a Fortune 500 company. People don’t understand what that really means. It’s a foot in the door for more sponsorship. It’s name recognition that most teams hope for and never get. Marcus saw a need to step in and help
Like I said it’s not huge money, but there is incentives. Huge bonuses for finishing well. Tv time for a team like ours that never gets it, we were in focus for over a minute at Darlington. That never happens. A actual program to help the small and big teams alike.
That’s never ever happened before. Big teams suck up so much funding then tout how good they are. Give small guys a chance at 1/10th that money and you’ll see us succeed more each week. Racing is tough, nothing is handed to you. We need to appreciate that more.
