And this is all part of a trend where the big networks and their obedient tastemakers no longer serve as gatekeepers for what is hip, relevant, or important. Decentralized social media and tech platforms means an abundance of “micro stars” and their own entertainment ecosystems.

In other words, the most self-righteous/important people in society have largely lost their ability to shape or decide what is entertainment/comedy. And their egos can’t handle it. Elon and this thinking represents the future. This thread is heavily influenced by @balajis ideas.
