If you offer indigenous land acknowledgements where you live, but are ignoring what is happening to the Palestinian people, I really don’t know what to tell you.

Settler colonialism is happening RIGHT NOW. You don’t have to imagine what you would have done if you were alive back when the occupation of the land you live on began. Whatever you’re doing, justifying, ignoring, both-sidesing now is exactly what you would have done back then.

Americans understand that if they muster up the courage to question Israel’s illegal occupation, they would have to accept hard truths about the very land that they claim as their own home. These colonial experiments are linked. One’s existence will always justify the other’s.
