i’ve recently been seeing a lot of the sheikh jarrah awareness posts being constantly reposted on everyone’s stories which is a great thing (don’t get me wrong), but what i find hypocritical is: for example, the the next story would be the person enjoying their life or posting+

about a dinner with the family or a hangout with their friends. it might just be me but it seems so useless to me. you’re reposting something & raising awareness and that takes like what 2 clicks of a button and then you completely forget about it and go on with ur lives while+

those people still suffer. yes ur raising awareness but is that stopping the israelis from killing more innocent ppl and children? no. ig the point of this thread was to say that reposting a post that u saw on ur friend’s story and u wanted to b apart of the “trend” isn’t helping
