Trans people, what do you consider a bigger part of your identity... being a woman/man/non-binary person, or being trans?

This has come up in a few contexts for me lately and I’m curious.

I recently met a stealth trans person who considers being trans almost 0 of her identity.
And for my answer...

I legitimately don’t know.

Is being trans part of who I am, or merely the process that got me to who I am?

I identify with the trans community online life strongly.

But in my day to day physical reality, being a woman is a bigger part.
Usually when transness enters my on the ground day to day reality, it’s around ways people have use my transness against me or around the medical care involved in my transition.

Neither is a very pleasant part of my trans identity.

However...
In my online life, being trans is a huge part of my identity, because it’s my space for advocacy and a shared sense of empathy for so many people who just need to know this life is okay, that they are beautiful, that they can be that person they want to be.
I also have some theories around the answers to this question and I’m very curious as to how everyone explains their answers.

Regardless of your answer though, you’re all valid and beautiful and nobody should feel ashamed of their identity on this.
