In Feb this year, Mudassar Naaru's father filed a Writ Petition before the Islamabad High Court.

Case was last fixed on 4 May. Ministry of Interior had not come prepared & Ministry of Defence submitted that "ISI & MI have informed that the said missing person is not held in their custody".

There are no words for this cruelty. For this unending torture and torment inflicted upon entire families. There has been no accountability for the crime, or for the pain and suffering so many have been subjected to.

Enforced disappearances are a crime against humanity. 5/7
Impunity for enforced disappearances must end. Lives have been forever altered & homes destroyed.

We draw (some fair) parallels b/w Nazi Germany & Indian atrocities in IOJK. 6/7
What about Hitler's Night & Fog Decree being a SOP in our own country?

It shouldnt have to be said over & over:

END ENFORCED DISAPPEARANCES NOW.

END CULTURE OF IMPUNITY FOR DISAPPEARANCES.
