Two-year update after reporting a set of papers that claim that 'miracle doctor' Yan Xin can kill cancer cells with his life force - without providing a scientific explanation, but with NIH funding and @Harvard authors:
1 paper retracted, 5 no action.

It is unclear how this method works; it is not clearly described, and it does not appear to be reproducible.

As reported on @RetractionWatch, one of these papers now got retracted because "no information on or plausible molecular mechanism which explains what the External Qi of Yan Xin Qigong is, how it is produced, and how it could be reproduced by
others"

Of note, the authors - from @UofOklahoma
@NIH @Harvard - are threatening to sue me for defamation.
I could sure use your help in fighting for my right to voice my concerns about scientific papers.
Please write to the editors and institutions and encourage them to take a critical look at these papers - and not be deterred by threatening letters by lawyers. We have every right to raise concerns like these.
It would also be wonderful if people could join the discussion on PubPeer - don't make me feel all alone there.
