Funniest thing about this restaurants worker convo is no one is pointing to customer entitlement and how workers might be fed up with that too regardless of pay.

Ask me how y’all were acting at brunch before and during the pandemic.
Ask me how Karens come in all ages and colors and how many times I had to remind you 20 and 30-something nwords to put a mask on.
... and how y’all acted like it was new, personalized information and not mayoral order and also POSTED ON THE DOOR.
Or you can ask me how every time someone is having a tantrum at the host stand 9 times out of 10 is some brat with balloons who thinks her homegirl is the only one in the building with a damn birthday.
And on average per person you’re paying $40 - SHORT MONEY - to spill and break shit and talk down to the people who have to clean up after you.

Then argue about the bill and who had a $2 coffee while the reservation is waiting for their table.
Ugliest part? It was usually my Spanish-speaking coworkers who caught the most hell from y’all.
