Really didn't want to tweet about Labour today but honestly I'm fucking livid. the absolute squandered opportunity and for what? perhaps the worst response to covid in the western world, an entire generation of people, many of which now approaching their 40s written off
the awful treatment and abuse volunteers had to suck up and take not just from a hostile press but the most comfortable people within their part. Most people enthused by Corbyn saw him as a last gasp at electoral politics, something they are now firmly shut out from.
it was never about Corbyn, he's clearly one of the few decent people in the cesspit of UK politics but if it weren't for the policies nine of us would have cared. And for having the gall to take an interest and try and make things a bit better, we were called trots and dogs
I could get over it if the people who spent the entire time calling names, saying how easy it should be, how stupid we all were, had shown an iota of curiosity or at least a fair hearing or even more importantly, demonstrated the ability to formulate an idea or learn anything
just beyond angry at the spite and stupidity of it all, for nothing but a few careerists to earn a bit more money when so many people have fuck all. anyway, sorry for the rant and even more sorry for the typos, I'm out in the rain typing and also this isn't an essay so who cares
