george is the youngest beatle, and george pig is the youngest in his family.

2. both of them are quiet

youngest could be a coincidence, but what about the fact that they both are extremely quiet?
george pig can barely talk and only ever really says "dinosaur!" along with another few phrases. alongside, george harrison is regarded as the "quiet" beatle.

3. they both have a best friend named richard

here's where it gets interesting. i've already mentioned two similarities, and along with that they have a best friend named richard! richard rabbit is george pigs bff, and richard starkey (aka ringo) is george harrison's bff. hmm...

4. george harrison wrote a song called piggies

i mean cmon now. piggies, and now we have george pig? 5

upon further research i stumbled across these highlighted quotes from george pig. these sound like something george harrison would say too. we can therefore conclude that george pig was inspired by george harrison.
